Everyone in Hubris is given a title and a name.

Why don't you use your real names?

Names have been changed to protect the innocent. Actually, some of us have been teaching and performing under these taken names for a while. Performers often like to take stage names to protect their identities, and to give themselves a fun name to perform under. We continue this fine stage tradition and name each member of Hubris. It also helps us to not take ourselves too seriously.

What's with the titles?

Did we mention that we don't take ourselves too seriously? Hubris is led by Hobbit, who was dubbed "God Emperor" by his fellow founders. It went spiraling out of control from there. Everyone is given a title when they're named, and hilarity ensues. And we have a thing for alliteration...

Performers receive individual titles, and our dedicated spotters receive the title "Band Aide de Camp."
